  • Nice little church. We looked in on a tour of the Monti. It is situated almost next to the little fountain on the small Monti square, where there is another nice little Russian church.

  • A more accurate name-Church of STS. Sylvester and Martin on the hills, he has the title of minor Basilica. Located near the churches of San Pietro in Vincoli and Santa Prassede. The old church in place of the existing Temple was built in the 4th century, its remnants can be seen in the crypt. The frescoes on the walls depicting the cathedrals of St. Peter and San Giovanni in Laterano.

  • The temple was consecrated Bishop of Rome by Sylvester in the year 324, St. Sylvester's name also appeared in the title. The façade, of course, much later in the Baroque style. Inside there is an ancient crypt and relics of early Christian martyrs under the altar.

  • This church is close to Santa Maria Maggiore and well worth a visit when you are in the area, the church is beautifully ornate and due to it not being a top tourist spot it is rather quiet and peaceful meaning you can fully appreciate the splendid interior.
