  • Now is a structure used by the municipality of Rome for exhibitions, meetings and conventions, as a function room and exhibit space. It was a Baroque style church Moreover d'Autore, bringing in its architecture the signature of Carlo Maderno that stood at the steps of the Aracoeliai the foot of the Capitoline Hill and stood on the site of another very old church "San Biagio de market"; He was "moved" and entirely rebuilt in its current location on via Montanara in the course of demolition for the opening of the sea route in the years ' 30. The facade retains its original appearance on two rows of Corinthian pilasters with the fitting, at the corners-the mountains that recalled the coat of arms of the Chigi (noble family which belonged Pope Alexander VII who sponsored its construction). The Interior is octagonal, with a barrel vault with lunettes with stucco frames. The apse still welcomes the Baroque altar by polychrome marbles; in the middle is the dome.

  • Official space of Rome for the dissemination of young contemporary artists of vocation (if not directly of stature), is a small, interesting example of saving an oratorio, with some artistic and architectural work in the fascist evisceration quartierino at the foot of Capitol Hill. Unlike the other between 1919 and unmade tracks destroyed his 1930, this was moved and repositioned as a backdrop and perspective at the beginning of via del mare, almost like a propylaeum of propaganda addressed at the Teatro di Marcello. Temporary exhibitions (often only a few days), so if there's nothing in the program is closed. the camouflage of form chiesiastiche is the limit and strength: ask anyone alive and work around via Montanara or Sala Santa Rita (ancient Memorial dedication) and very few of the shrewder will have an idea. You say the Church del Teatro Marcello, and you're done!
