  • This church was built in the 16th-17TH century, designed by Giacomo Della Porta. You can see the works of Cristoforo Casolani, Girolamo Muziano, Orazio Gentileschi, Innocenzo Tacconi and other artists. It is very nice inside and simple on the outside.

  • One of the many small churches, where you can sit on a church bench and rest the tired legs and let peace fall in cool.

  • The Church was built by the architect Giacomo della Porta on the request of Grégoire XIII in 1580 to celebrate the discovery of a reporting miraculous 15th century representative the Madonna with saint Laurent and image St. Stephen who was found in the ruins of a convent of poor Clares close. This image always present on the high altar is worn since in procession each year around the end of April, date at which it was found in 1579. The façade of the Church was restored in 1991-1992.

  • Okay it is a church, a nice church like so many other nice churches in Rome. But this church is special. On a regular basis they treat homeless and poor people on a free meal. The church is covered with tables and seats, all nicely dressed for their costumers. Now that is what I call mercy. If you go there, be generous and make a donation. The money is well spent.
  • Beautiful church, we enjoyed attending Mass here while in Rome.
  • Good food, with helpful staff. Given that I had special requests, they were able to accommodate.
  • An amazing church, especially at night.
  • Small beautiful Church. Many of the pictures as follows this church here on googlemap comes actually from other churches.
