They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains.   • Situated at the top of Vittorio Emanuele building and a bit hard to find, no signage. 7 euro entrance fee but totally worth it. Spectacular view of the city and a close view of the Quadrighe.  more »
  • I have read in various places online that the lift can be accessed from the top of the Scalinata del Aracoeli. This is not true. There is a locked gate in the way. The only way is through the monument...  more »
