  • Away from the Metro station to the center of the Pyramid went on foot. The path took place just on the San Saba County, named for the monastery complex of the same name. Tourists here can not be found, because the lives of ordinary Romans closer, cheaper catering. In hot weather, you can relax in the shade of the trees on the area of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, there are a lot of benches.

  • San Saba district is located to the East of Viale Aventino and includes in addition to several interesting churches major museum complex-the baths of Caracalla. Interestingly, from Piazza Numa Pompilio at the entrance to the baths of Caracalla originates road, passing the old Appievu road.

  • The small district of San Saba occupies part of the Aventinskogo Hill, so it is best combined with a stroll through the Aventinu. The district was named in honor of a very old monastery of San Saba, which you can view with some luck. Overall, I totally atypical for Rome: very nice, but unusually quiet and empty.
