  • An odd place Nice ruins. Good tram stop. Litter al over - Including a pile of shoes
  • Great underground cathedral i.e. Ipogeo (visit on request)
  • The only Temple Pythagorean still standing although strong abyss in its decoration in stucco, miraculously discovered in 1913 some meters under the ground, under a railroad arriving at Termini. Unfortunately I was only able to visit it so the opening times are few: a few half days per month, with pre-registration required, by telephone only. If the language is difficult, so forget it! Too bad. Yet this temple is a must (read the book by Jerome Carcopino "Pythagorean major door Basilica" published in 1943. I am attaching 1 photo in the book.
