  • Too bad that a small pearl like this bridge is barely visible and poorly indicated. In fact, if it weren't for any Roman colleagues, I would never have known where to reach it. Unfortunately I visited it in the late afternoon with very little light and the lack of lighting and signage and inclusion in a somewhat degraded context make you lose several points to this beautiful monument. Worth a visit if you are passing through the area

  • Beautiful structure of the Roman era, then reworked in the following centuries. The state of preservation is all in all good and the bridge deserves a detour to visit it. A small pearl of ancient architecture encapsulated in a somewhat anonymous neighborhood.

  • I remember when the bridge was open to the transit of motor vehicles, then fortunately some forward-thinking mind made it pedestrian. I love walking around at night. A cultural association allows a visit inside.

  • Historical Bridge of Rome located in the district of Monte Sacro. Along its old life, over twenty centuries, has undergone several remodelings and restorations, despite these, its original bearing structure has resisted over the centuries. Route from the chaotic Roman traffic until the early nineties of the TWENTIETH century, today it is part of the Aniene River Park, only pedestrian walking distance. Long life then to our immortal BRIDGE NOMENTANO.

  • Ancient bridge of Rome that crosses the Aniene River and is one of the few pedestrians in the city. Along with the Milvio bridge and Sslario bridge was in ancient Rome one of the most important extra-urban bridges. In use until 1924 to the construction of the Tazio bridge is an obligatory link between Roms and the northern areas of the city. Since 1997 and pedestrian only.

  • It is a beautiful visual experience to visit this place crossed by history. But perfectly included in the daily living of the Montesacro district, Garden City. It makes the charming and lively area full of lolacalini and youth pubs as well as busy scheduling of summer events.

  • Here it detaches for a moment from the confusion of Via Nomentana. It feels like we're being catapulted to another place. The bridge is well looked after and afterlife you can find several very nice premises

  • The place is beautiful but unfortunately the carelessness is the master. rain was also pouring. and so the visit ended early
