  • If you look for a VERY good sandwich and Ale beer, this is "the" place. As you enter, look for cards and pen you can use to fill your order, selecting your favorite type of meat, vegges, salsa, drinks...  more »

  • This sandwich bar/pizzeria has tables both outdoors and indoors and good parking. Popular this place is characterized by pace that determine the name. This is hearty sandwiches made with pizza bread and stuffed with a decent selection of meats, side dishes and sauces of your choice that can sort them at will. Tasty but a bit heavy, high average prices and average quality. Worth a try.

  • Great pizza and sandwiches, staff didn't speak English. For your sandwich you have to fill out a form next to the sandwich making station and turn it in, all in Italian somehow our Spanish did the tick. This is a locals Italian only place but the food was worth the hassle.
  • Gajardi e tosti!
  • Perhaps the best sandwiches in Rome. The place is simple and no frills while the staff is easygoing, courteous and pleasant. The sandwiches are quite plentiful and you can choose from a set of chosen combinations or create your own sandwich (depending on your tastes and preferences). The choice is vast: from different types of meat (chicken, pork, beef, pork, pork collar frayed, etc.) to various types of dressings and sauces. The prices are absolutely content. 6 € for menu medium: medium drink and pace (which incidently is still abundant); 8 € for menu with great pace. Every time I happen to frequent the place is always packed (especially on weekends) so you have to get organized with due regard to the possibility of having to aspettare.....ma it's certainly worth it. PS: do try the pizza by the slice

  • It's a pizza by the slice sandwiches but the restaurant is famous in the area and neighbouring districts for its "Pace". These are locally made bread buns stuffed with a choice of meats: 2-3 sausage, bacon, chicken hamburger, egg, pork frayed or pork neck dressings and seasonings to taste. All of excellent quality at a very affordable cost (€ 6 medium pace + drink, € 8 pace great + drink). Popular local night from Friday to Sunday.

  • The paninaro par excellence in Rome. With 6 euros you have a sandwich with excellent quality and super generous dimensions. Although very busy you can eat without having to wait long. The room and the bathrooms are clean and tidy.
