  • Nice but also incredibly fascinating. The Roman aqueduct that cuts to almost all the Park gives a touch of history in this place. We organize bike rides and other events suitable for families but in my opinion you should do more. A lot more

  • Sometimes I wonder, all my shambles of news around, what's the sense of a review if I feel a breath of much that I don't understand. But my father used to say that if you love someone you have to make him feel, although it will not respond. So ' always ' Rome, like a loved one. Here the villas gardens gardens parks, forests, farms and local presidential campaign and shipping companies and protected areas-along with the water of the rivers springs bubbling fountains and ' nasoni '-dot accompany color pencils give breath to the cement city nourish and protect. Inside and outside the walls, on and off the Gra, so this-wasn't enough already how beautiful-green world capital. Between via Appia Nuova and via Tuscolana here is the little gem that I try to tell, one end to wedge in the streets and the other edge of the Parco degli Acquedotti. Past and present together. Not only in the remains of the majestic water Happy and Claudia, for more than eight centuries of almost the entire city water warranty and unfortunately also used by the Goths of Totila as fortified area during a bloody siege (537-539), but also in two houses used as information and refreshment. In the second of which there is an amazing spa facility with heated floors and wall back two thousand years! Snooping on everything and to give name to the place, an elegant Square Tower. Surely already present long before and since the 17th century property of the Papal Treasurer Philip Mz_sexyshane (the tax). The highest of the Agro Romano (30 metres), part of an integrated system of warning and reporting with other towers, that allowed anyone who was inside the walls to get ready in time to the possible defence of suburban estates and roads. Now especially committed to watch planes of Ciampino and sports of all kinds, walks and bike rides, dogs and their owners, and benches, friends and kids games and Solitaire steps messages, mom and chatter, grandmothers and memories ... and young people hunting for life. One can only imagine, but we partly see, underground surprise can be reached from the climb after the playground. Km of tunnels for the extraction of tufa and pozzolana, used to shelter livestock, shelter and partisan and ... as mushroom growing. A few years ago the Park received international recognition for the redevelopment of this portion of the Suburb. The awards are not alone. Everything can be improved, but in the meantime, my thanks to those who care each day to give it to others. alfredodenicolais
