  • A site of absolute beauty, which infuses a feeling of peace and tranquility, and at the same time of grandeur, given the presence of the majestic remains of the Roman aqueducts. Listed in the Appia Antica Regional Park, the country aspect is also of considerable importance; the paths that start from the remains of the ancient aqueducts take us to a Roman countryside that we find well preserved, with ancient farmhouses and crops of vegetable gardens and fruit trees, where the gaze ranges towards the profile of the Alban Hills. Among this green stands out the Tax Tower, 30 meters high, born in the 13th century and modified in the following centuries. From the 17th century it was called "Fiscal" because the estate belonged to the papal (fiscal) treasurer, who obtained a derivation of Marana water for his vineyard. The Tower provided the canal and the sealing of protection and control. The park is a public place, equipped and free where there are several associations that provide guided tours and cultural events. There is also a Casale Ristoro and a Casale Museo, where you can admire a hypogea room of the Roman era, part of the remains of a Roman villa of the imperial era and an ancient stable where exhibitions are held themed.

  • Very nice and comfortable place, surrounded by greenery, ideal for lunches with children and families. Great food, fast service the right, good value. I highly recommend it.

  • North end of the aqueduct park (travertine arch side entrance) a very nice portion of greenery with this dining spot that can fit to get us a coffee. We celebrated a birthday with a set menu that included a starter with 2 slices of salami, a bruschetta with a goat-style cheese and a suffle. Two taste the first fi before with strozzapreti with zucchini and speck (scuapisdime) and a portion of pasta sk oven (eatable). Second made of sakcicette and bark sk oven with potatoes and to finish mixed salad. Sincerely of bad quality bread, like house wine. Not even the Sweet on saves with 2 tastings between a kind of tart and a kind of crumbled. I do not know about the account as invited and this is the only happy note not having spent a euro... Sorry for those who took charge of the bill!

  • Nice place... One of the many pieces of History that you can find in this city
  • A very cool, historical and beautiful place. A must visit for history lovers, the birth place of 1st known Roman street structure. The aquiduct structure are medieval and before Roman empire.
  • Saw this park in 'la grande belleza', looked more peaceful in the movie. Still a great place to relax w a bottle of wine and a book when in Rome
  • Aquadux is wonderful to see at the time of sunset
  • Beautiful place to visit
