  • Since 2014 along with 11 other properties, this building is part of the papal state, so it is impossible to expropriate it or demand tributes. These POVERI priests, bishops, cardinals and Popes (I remind you that there are currently two) have the certainty of not paying anything to the City of Rome or the Italian State for this palace. This building was built in 1620 at the behest of Pope Gregory XV who commissioned Gianlorenzo Bernini for the works and replaced him by Francesco Borromini.   • This Palace is located at the end of Piazza di Spagna, no descriptive sign so the average tourist little interested in architecture definitely goes unnoticed , I like to inform myself and I can tell you that it is owned by the Holy See even if it is not located inside Vatican City and was home to the Congregation for the Propagation and Spread of the Faith, hence Propaganda Fide
