  • Expensive and nothing special with the food. 15 euros for a pizza, 9 € for a beer. More expensive than other places beyond the Piazza Navona, where all the restaurants are tourist traps. Walk a couple of blocks away instead.

  • After visiting the Parliament decided to visit Palazzo Madama, the 1 St Saturday of the month upon reservation you can visit it, then after a short delay (Group entrance every hour) we are accompanied by an attendant (very) long hallways and salons that have seen eminent political and institutional figures cover these spaces, full of who knows what secrets, relation to the Parliament this Palace is smaller , less rich in the furniture though the chandeliers of Garibaldi Chamber (I hope not to err) in murano glass are beautiful. A little advice, after the visit and a short walk to go see the beautiful church of San Luigi dei Francesi and where there are 3 paintings by Caravaggio, than in any other country in the world we would have paid a ticket!

  • Palazzo Madama (Italian pronunciation: [paˈlattso maˈdaːma]) in Rome is the seat of the Senate of the Italian Republic. It was built atop the ruins of the ancient baths of Nero, next to Piazza Navona. The terrain had been acquired in the Middle Ages by the monks of the Abbey of Farfa, who later ceded it to France.
  • Palazzo Madama-seat of the Senate of the Republic-can be visited on the first Saturday of the month. Visits are suspended in August. Free visits lasting about 40 minutes, are cared for by staff of the Senate, which will illustrate the main historical, artistic and institutional aspects of boardrooms and of the most suggestive places in the Senate. Logon hours is from 10.00 to 18.00. To visit the Senate will need to pick up a free ticket to access occurring at the entrance of Piazza Madama No. 11 on the day of opening to the public from 8.30 onwards. Each visitor may request, subject to availability, up to four tickets if adult and a ticket if a minor, choosing between 10.00 and 18.00 hours with intervals of 20 minutes.
