  • The palace facing Piazza Miganelli. It was built in the late 16th century on the site of the ancient "Gardens of Le Cruz". There was a square at the back left, and there was a stairway of Lampa Miñanelli which went to the Trinita di Monti Church.

  • For those who know the adjective "luculian" to indicate something abundant and glitzy, it might be interesting to know that the term comes from the gardens that in ancient Rome were in this place. They were here in fact the opulent gardens made in the first century before Christ by Lucio Licinio Lucullo The Palace we see today was made in 1575 by Count Gabrielli, who then, following the marriage in 1615 between Maria Gabrielli and Giovanni Mignanelli, step to the latter's family.

  • We ate at Leonardo Pizzeria and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and would definitely eat here again.
  • enjoyable place to chill and eat. nothing over the top special, just great staff, good service and lovely outdoor atmosphere. we were even treated to street opera. Only in Rome!
  • You will find this palazzo in the not so famous part of Piazza di Spagna. Valentino resides here and a fantastic work of art: the bronze sculpture Zenturione by Igor Mitoraj, which you can see from the entrance without passing the security guard.

  • The building, from which the square takes its name and which constitutes its background, was built in 1575. From 1615 it becomes the property of the Magnanelli, after a marriage with which it passed as inheritance. In 1834 it was rented to the Roman bank, this is also remembered in a "biting" sonnet of the Great Roman poet Belli (the Cassa de discount). In 1887 it passed to Fide Propagande, where the coat of arms is still visible today above the beautiful gate (two angels in stucco that support a globe, in which there is written the acronym S.C.P.F. which means Sacred Congregation of Propaganda Fide). On that occasion the palace was the object of important works both in the façade and in the raising of a plan, so as to have the current form. Currently the building is the home of the famous fashion house: Valentino. In 2015 a conservative restoration was finalized one of which was to give back the original colors. Note Poem written by Gioacchino Belli, in 1834, where it is highlighted that in Piazza Mignatelli the homonymous palace was located the Roman bank. THE CASHIER DE DISCOUNT Dar pe annà people at Li Du ' Mascelli On the Piazza de Spaggna in Mmano is missing In Fonno a la Piazzetta Miggnanelli, There is a bwhite façade.
