  • The large and beautiful building overlooking piazza Monte Citorio on one side and the other on Parliament Square. It is one of the venues of Italy's political scene, both good and bad. The design of the building, initially in Baroque style, is Bernini, which was to be a private residence. Then it was remodeled by architect Fontana and used in curia apostolica. He established liberty "adjustments on the part of the architect Basile and headquarters of Italian Parliament after the unification of Italy. The event scheduled to open doors, normally the Montecitorio first Sunday of each month, allows citizens to visit freely, without reservation, the most significant of the palazzo Montecitorio, which the Chamber, the Hall of the lost footsteps (also known as ocean liner), the main State rooms of the Chamber of Deputies. the visit is permitted all year at schools and some quarters are open during exhibitions that frequently occupy part of the Palace.

  • It's the Palace symbol of Italian political life and captures attention with its very wide and a little convex façade; elegant entry and beautiful Windows with original terrace; in the square outside you can enjoy menus (we still had, years ago, almost face to face with the President of the Republic).

  • Parliament of Italy took this very interesting building. Rough outlined walls follow the contours of the ancient streets. It is easy to see the clock next to face a police regiment.
