  • In the same piazza del Quirinale is the Palazzo della Consulta. Built in 1737 to host the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Sacred Congregation of the Council, or the Board of the Papal States. Later it was home to various institutions: between 1798 and 1814 in the Prefectural Government of 1849 triumvirate of Giuseppe Mazzini, from 1871 to 1874 was the residence of Crown Prince Umberto I, between 1874 and 1922 there was the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from 1924 to 1953 the Ministry of colonies. Since 1955 it became the seat of the Constitutional Court.

  • It is one of many mansions "institutional", in fact here meets the Constitutional Court and a bit of curiosity is inevitable because it is practically impossible not to see it when you go to see the Quirinale. Limiting ourselves to an external visit maybe appreza just the architecture and the facade but comuqnue nice to look at. subjective but has its own charm.

  • located on Capitol Hill at the behest of Pope Clement XII who erected to host the Secretariat of the Council. The façade is very beautiful and architectural richness, in my opinion, fish obfuscates the adjacent Presidential Palace Quirinale very sober which is also due to the Vatican where at the end of 1500 construction was commissioned by Pope Gregory XIII. Being based in Constitutional Court still think that it is almost impossible for a visit inside, however that is visible externally makes already an idea of the grandeur of the historic building.
