  • The palazo, built at the beginning of the 500 for Cardinal Armellini, is located in the street of the Conciliation and houses a hotel and the Salvaotorian fathers who make missionaries in the world. Before this palace in the ancient Via Cornelia stood the house of Seneca. The stone interior is antique and elegant with wooden coffered ceilings.

  • palace of Rome to see when you have really already visited everything because it does not contain valuable works, but that still has a thousand-year history. in an exceptional location just a few meters from the basilica of St. Peter, stands on the remains of the ancient Cornelia street of which are preserved three boulders of the basolato. Now the seat of the order of the Salvadorans has a history linked to several sieges of Rome, from that of the Lanzichenecchi who just from the cellars of the palace have entered the city and the German one since several Jews have saved themselves hiding in the attics. the wooden drawers, the frescoes with perspective effects, but the most beautiful thing is the terrace overlooking Rome on 4 sides which has a beautiful view

  • The Chej Almelini Palace is just a short stop from St. Peter's Square and is located on the south side of Chile Azione Street. There was a souvenir shop and tabacchi on the first floor facing the street, but the shop was not open yet. On the sidewalk in front of the building, street stalls were starting to prepare for business. If you look at it later, it seems to be the name of the building because it was built by Cardinal Almelini in the 16th century and then sold to the Chej family. This four-story late Renaissance mansion.

  • We were very impressed with the level of cleanliness in the hotel. All receptionist staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast was delicious! Hotel was very quiet and relaxing, making it so easy to sleep. We would have liked a kettle in our room for making tea!
  • From the moment we made our online booking till we departed it was a first class service. We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who explained the everything we required to know about the hotel and then showed us to the lift. Our room was #205 which was very clean and the bed was excellent. buffet breakfast which had everything you would want and more. Coffee and pastries were available in the foyer from 9 till 11am every day . We experienced a mugging on our first day and the staff were very supportive and assisted us in the process of how to get emergency travel documents. There is a lovely sitting area which looks onto a lovely court yard which is floodlit. All in all this is an excellent hotel with excellent location to all the places of interest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone you will not be disappointed. One tip I would like to highlight and that is book early as this hotel is very popular. Personal thanks to all the staff 5 ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
  • We had 3 days in Rome and was recommended this hotel from a past guest. Location is prime. Steps away from the Vatican and easy to walk to most attractions. The hotel and our room was very clean and well maintained although having issues with our toilet. Which is where we ran into our only complaint. We called down immediately after noticing our toilet water would not stop running. After explaining that to a young female employee, she came to try and fix it but could not so she stated due to the issue we will have to relocate you to another room which wasn't the quickest process at a bad time, right before dinner plans with people waiting and also received no compensation or reimbursement for our troubles of repacking all our belongings. When managemenet was made aware of the issue, an older lady by the name of Evelyn was nothing but rude about the situation. Repeatedly telling us how big of a trouble the toilet issue was going to be for them to fix without any remorse or consideration about me, their paying guest. All she offered us was a complimentary drink, which felt like more of a bandaid to shut us up. Another employee by the name of Christian was the absolute best. Very friendly and even offered good local recommendations. Overall decent experience minus Evelyn... Totally understanding that things happens sometimes and we weren't expecting anything except good customer service.
  • Excellent customer service, clean premises and wonderful location made our stay in Rome a wonderful experience. Staff were nice and accommodating, allowing part of my family to check in early since some rooms were available.
  • Superb location near Vatican, friendly and helpful staff, historical building and what else do you need visiting Rome. Just enjoy!
