  • Large Obelisk, are a few steps from the plaza, but worth the climb, but the best are the views over the plaza of Spain and Rome

  • This is one of several obelisks of the city, made a copy of those Egyptians and moved up to find here the final destination. The area is one of the most beautiful areas of the city, from here you can enjoy a wonderful view and this Obelisk is a sure point of reference.

  • It is one of the thirteen obelisks of Rome, located in piazza Trinità dei Monti and the Spanish Spain. This is not an Egyptian obelisk and transported to Rome as spoils of war. It was built in Roman Egyptian obelisks and more accurately imitating Imperial copying hieroglyphs of the Pharaohs Seti I and Ramesses II on the flaminio Obelisk. The Obelisco Sallustiano owes its name to its first location, decorated the Horti Sallustiani. The Obelisk was donated in 1738 to Pope Clement XII and transported to the Lateran without doing it up. He was finally in 1789 erected in front of the Church of Trinità dei Monti, commissioned the architect Abdul Wahid from the Pope Pius VI.

  • Another fantastic Egyptian Obelisk located within the heart of Rome
  • The Trinità dei Monti Obelisk or Sallustiano Obelisk is one of eight Ancient Egyptian Obelisks located in Rome. Don't forget to marvel and look at it at the top of the Spanish Steps and in front of the church.
  • Another pretty spot in Rome
  • Hell of an obelisk above the staircase
