  • Very nice the Testaccio market with its manicured grocery and clothing

  • In this market you can buy primarily supermarkets, but also footwear and clothes. Sold there are fresh fruits and vegetables and prepared food. Is there food sold is a real Roman specialties. There you can get to know the real Roman cuisine is very diverse and tasty. Better suppli is not Rome;)

  • This is the new Mercato Testaccio, what feels like an antiseptic Disney version of what an Italian food market should be. It's a disaster, nothing like what a real, traditional Italian market should be. I feel for the vendors who likely pay high rent for few buyers. I only wish I lived in Rome when the old market was still around.
  • Typical neighborhood market, is an excellent choice for a quick lunch with so much variety (sandwiches, centrifuges, pizza etc) at affordable prices for the capital.
