  • We experienced several delicacies for lunch and we were delighted ... excellent quality, friendly owners, great atmosphere ... a winning idea! We ate the fried rice balls and Abruzzo specialities from Apulia superlatives when a lightness and taste amazing, drank good wine by the glass and tasted some sweets to bread box! All delicious

  • This is not on the tourist map and you definitely have to make it a destination on your Roman culinary tours. Open market with wonderful local produce. Street food stands with classic roman sandwiches...  more »

  • This is the new Mercato Testaccio, what feels like an antiseptic Disney version of what an Italian food market should be. It's a disaster, nothing like what a real, traditional Italian market should be. I feel for the vendors who likely pay high rent for few buyers. I only wish I lived in Rome when the old market was still around.
  • Typical neighborhood market, is an excellent choice for a quick lunch with so much variety (sandwiches, centrifuges, pizza etc) at affordable prices for the capital.
