  • It is well worthwhile to visit and to go down to the stadium at Roman level. You see some original parts of the stadium. We were a little misled by the scannable code on the outside. It took you to a ...  more »
  • Surely little known site!!! I visited several years ago the place when I still wasn't as usable and you had to get a permit through specialized guides who accompanied him during the journey. Now is very nice and interesting to visit independently driven both by audioguides by clear photos and drawings and videos. Very interesting video that you can view in the lounge with comfortable armchairs: virtual reconstructions show us Rome yesterday and today. The excavations are a Unesco World Heritage site and it is really a pity that there are still very popular.

  • I don't believe this has been open to the public for very long and they are still improving it as a public archeological site. It was fascinating to find out about the history of athletic (as opposed ...  more »

  • The place is fine, but it's overpriced at 8 euro. It's a small area of ruins. It's an interesting story and the videos reconstructing the stadium were interesting, but the space itself isn't worth the money in my opinion.
  • Admirable effort of the city of Rome to make available the historical heritage of the city, but very little to see. A tour that could last 5 min. If it weren't for the details (even too many), which are given over the phone.

  • A nice recovery of a very important archaeological site which for years remained empty and abandoned. Visitors to this area of Piazza Navona, recommend going in Palazzo Altemps located in Piazza di Sant'Apollinare, 46 (in 5 minutes to get there) and you have to just cross Piazza di Tor Sanguigna.

  • Well run, the exhibition area is small but well organized. The cost maybe a bit too excessive, but it is a Foundation, so it does not fall within the circuit of free museums (on select days)
