  • Very nice Museum in the Park of villa borghese. Already the entrance is very picturesque, a mini fortress with a green space to admire before entering. The Museum consists of three rooms (one of which is very small) all full of sculptures and statues from various dimensions, some riding maestosissime. from the biggest you can get in the Studio and the artist's studio, which doesn't seem to have been touched except to work times of Caninica, the whole thing looks very impressive. We didn't have a chance to ask to visit the apartments of the artist because the attendants (2) were busy with tourists especially rude that dabbled in tap continuously works. Tourists remember to respect the places that you visit, don't be a shame and cafonaggine index, THANKS

  • This little visit a museum in Borgese the Villa Park is interesting and small and that you're passing by to go to a better historical site, you should stop here and take a visit. Interesting sculpture...  more »
  • The attendants. We go in there, it's just us, the two read the newspaper. Let's take a ride, the upstairs is closed and we ask if you can visit it. Answer: no to 3 people don't I bring up. Too bad, because despite these willing employees home is also nice. A round's worth.

  • One of the free museums in Rome. Worth visiting. I'm not even a big sculpture fan but I really enjoyed learning and seeing his life's work. Also very interesting to see here is the artists apartment, which they let you into every 30 minutes (for free). You can get a glimpse of how the old apartments were decorated and furnished. This little tour takes you upstairs to the artist's apartment and to the downstairs basement where more sculpture are held. On your own time you can also wander to the side apartment which is even older looking and even cooler in my opinion :) Enjoy your visit! Jordan
  • Nice place when you want peace and rest from people. I liked resting in the shadows of orange trees.
  • The collection is not amazing but it is free while the rooms of the artist's studio are a quiet and interesting place. Also the internal garden is a quiet spot to relax
  • Most busts are in good shape and there are excellent carvings. The best part is that the entrance is free!
  • A beautiful courtyard garden and really interesting works inside. And it's free entry.

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
