  • Go there, you will find yourself unconsciously in an atmosphere of past times, a magic. Don't change anything, not even the label onto the photographs, even those are art

  • During a walk to Villa Borghese and drawn by his appearance of small castle, I was lucky enough to discover this little gem. The casa museo Pietro Canonica is a magical place, where you can admire its marble and its bronzes to finish, step by step, in his private chambers, suspended in a time that seems to have just stopped. The artist's studio, I want to go back!

  • in the Park of villa borghese, this small but valuable free House Museum. The really valuable sculptures of this author that created figures, female species, particularly intense expressions. There are also some rooms for the study you appear to be transported back in time. The Museum closes at 16.30 for visiting calculate about one hour. Friendly staff. Some in Rome there is an immensity of things to look at, but this place is truly remarkable and I would say little known

  • They display Pietro Canonica's work along with contemporary art pieces which is really interesting. I specially enjoyed. It's worthy to see and it's free!
  • In 1922 he settled in Rome and obtained from the Common use of "Fortezzuola", in the splendid setting of Piazza di Siena, where he lived and worked until his death in 1959. Receives commissions from all the European aristocracy, enthusiast of refined taste and idealizing this sculptor. The Museum can be visited for free and store rooms for some works.
