  • In itself, the Park of Santa Maria della Pietà is nice, quiet and green space dotted with murals. In addition, the Museum Laboratory of the mind is an interesting space inspired by the former mental hospital which stood in this place (and the psyche in General). There are objects, testimonies and even artistic approaches to the subject. Touching and well done, congratulations! I recommend it to people interested in the subject but also to those who want to spend an enjoyable afternoon amongst the greenery and culture, outside (unfortunately or fortunately) by the canons tourist circuits.

  • I came here for research, as a character in a story I am writing was incarcerated here in the 1930s. To get detailed knowledge of the institution it is probably better to access the archives. The focu...  more »
  • MAH. Sincerely? Didn't leave me anything. Maybe it was my fault, but despite being a sensitive person I couldn't quite understand the meaning of the visit, did not leave nothing but news you can read anywhere and does not transpose to force inside. Voice/audio/video rooms in my opinion worthless, as well as many videos. Very touching instead is the last part where you visit the rooms where there were prisoners, where there are beds and furnishings of the time. Interactive but sometimes boring. Lots of greenery but uncomfortable to reach for those without the train around. Topic touching and PERFECTLY RESPECTABLE, but Museum not up to par in my opinion. I would spend € 7 over again somewhere else.
