  • Apartment house with adjoining studio of sculpture was designed by the artist himself. Villa Anna is bequeathed ago Andersen Italian State, then later converted into a museum. Sculpture, paintings, graphic works await you, figuring out how through art you can change humanity and produce perfection.

  • I love this little gem and I had done long ago a rave review. Today, I wanted to show it to my grandson. Looked at site, ok open, direct X control, do not respond. Despite the heat come on, ok Museum opened. Too bad the 2 large halls closed because they're doing construction. At 1 floor, closed rooms work there too. Wouldn't it be better to close it, thus saving even staff and avoiding the poor tourist, heat and waste of time and great anger?

The Museum is always free and it is maintained very well, by friendly staff and willing to each explanation. The Museum is at 5 minutes from the metro flaminio and almost overlooking the lungo tevere then makes a visit between a walk. Drop by, I will def

  • Unknown gem in Rome, stunning location often used for fashion shoots
  • Small museum building in the meadows; courteous staff. Sculpture models impress with their beauty and loveliness. Shame we could not visit the apartment of the author currently closed.

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
