  • The Museum has three floors characterized each by narrow stairways, low roofs and rooms quite small, all in my opinion suitable to make better the theme of the Museum. I liked especially the ground with real (and ancient) medieval torture equipment. It was a very curious between descriptions of particular objects and small stories of some of the owners. It was almost created an environment from horror movies with objects of torture and weapons and a quiet and small seeds. I met him just because I was looking for a museum to visit on the cheap (it was a period of a few pennies and still didn't give up a cultural ride), the price of 2 euros is really low for what it offers, just visit it fast it takes an hour and a half. My partner and I were in for more than 2 hours. Congratulations indeed! The only flaw is the entry a bit hidden, we walked past it twice before you notice it, but at least it is near campo de ' fiori and then with the media is quite attainable. I highly recommend it, and it says a that's quite scary and suggestible.

  • Created by the penitentiary administration is very special attraction that is located in the historical center of Rome, a few steps from Campo de ' fiori. Not everyone knows about its existence, but it is worth visiting (I believe it currently is closed for renovation), the ticket price is negligible. The Museum is divided into three sections. In one there are the testimonies of the forms of torture used during the centuries, another is dedicated to the study of criminal anthropology, see Lombroso, and at first techniques of criminal police and another to the most glaring crimes of the twentieth century.

  • There is the medieval history criminal Renaissance post very good for those who love the past laws and its means of torture...

  • A nice little dusty museum detailing the blood chilling history of crimes in Rome. Teenage kids will be most entertained.
  • Brilliant if you have early teen boys who are fascinated by gore, and less fascinated by the beauty and art that their parents have been forcing them to see on their trip to Rome.
  • We bumped into this museum while wandering the city. It was an amazing surprise for us. We ended up seeing things we would normally never see. If you like police novels and criminal stories, that is the place to be!!
  • Collezione piccola, ma interessante!
  • Exceptional ... ... rich in history ...
