  • It is one of the largest covered markets, well organized and accessible of the city (metro to Julius Caesar is a few hundred meters, about one km from San Pietro). The variety of scents and colors is also the result of a curious mix between the traditional products of Italian cooking (especially in Central and southern, from Campania through Lazio to Umbria, and Abruzzo) and ethnic origin (from the Maghreb to South America). It is certainly among the main attractions to visit in Rome, but during a stay by the week up worth a stop by if you stay not too far from the Metro line A. ..

  • Daily market in the Prati district. This by Jess that guide in the Organization "The Roman Food Tour". Here tasted local products (Buffalo mozzarella, various white and red wines, a suppli "= type of croquette stuffed with rice and sauce). Worth in to walk around. THX Jess

  • I'm keen on shopping on farmers food market where everything is locally produced and super fresh. This mercato is overwhelming with fresh fishes, butchers products, dairy, some ready to eat. You will see how they treat with products or food. Enjoy watching merchants how they warmly communicate with their loyal customers.
  • This, above all, is not to be missed! Local vegetables, meats, cheese and everything else.
  • Good place for food, fish and meat
  • Huge selection, indoor benches. One of the best markets in Rome. Parking in basement

  • Fresh produce in some cases sold directly from the manufacturer. Recommended!
