  • Close to Trastevere, near Circo Massimo is a market which is open only on weekends. In this market to sell their products, farmers from the region of Lazio. Mostly locals come here. This is not a tourist destination, but it and "bribes". You can plunge into the local Wednesday, try cheeses, meat products and wine)).

  • The Campo Boario market is truly a gem: it is a pretty big space, full of stalls offer excellent products, strictly and exclusively at km 0. Here you can buy fruit and vegetables are always fresh and seasonal, but also difficult to find, such as Thistles, purple cauliflowers etc. .. If you are a fan of pumpkins, in season, you can stop at a dealer specializing in the sale of the latter: you will find all the sizes and types of pumpkin as possible, as well as a special mustard to pair with some cheese. About dairy products, the market offers different banks dedicated to cheeses and dairy products of all kinds. From fresh Buffalo mozzarella and provolone, typical bells, the baked ricotta, passing through the look of san vittore, cheese production that's definitely worth the trip! You will not miss anything, we advise you to take a break, if only to observe the various types, the bench dedicated to honey and honey, you'll be hooked. As for the meat, the market has several stalls offer fresh produce and great looks, as well as the pork, ready to be greeted by a nice sandwich. Bread and confectionery are placed somewhat aloof than the rest, but they will definitely yummy. Note, finally, the opportunity to have lunch, sitting in the patio area outside, tasting newly purchased products or some dishes cooked to order from one of the market stalls. The prices are not high, considering the quality and the availability of products for sale! The market, for anyone interested to visit, is only open on Saturdays until 18 and Sundays until 16.

  • Really good market for organic produce. Being locally sourced and organic, the price are pretty high, but its worth it. There's even places to sit in the back garden to eat.
  • Products from farmers on the Lazio area around Rome. Good place to buy fresh produce, cheese or ham. You can also eat simple things like pasta, should or panini so you can also have lunch there
  • Great food to buy but crowded - go early and not when it's hot. Also don't shop hungry...
  • It was a brilliant place. Incredible fresh produce and a wonderful place to have lunch. The fruit is superb and excellent small goods.
  • You can buy food and drinks here from local producers. After you buy, go outside in the back of the market and enjoy your "shopping"! There are some benches and tables. Do not be ashamed, locals do it also :)!
