  • This market is really a gem! The option of eating in the back yard is really a not inconsiderable added value!

  • The market campagna amica takes all Saturdays and Sundays in the former premises of the fish market. In fact in the vaulted ceiling is the cross of David. Fruits, vegetables, bread, biscuits, cakes cheese meat and sausage products strictly of agricultural holdings of the Lazio and Abruzzo. Absolutely worth visiting.

  • This beautiful indoor market at two steps from the Circus Maximus, open on Saturdays from 9 to 18 and on Sundays from 9 to 16, provides a broad overview of both Earth's products to products such as cheese, meats, wines, honey, bread really excellent and at great prices compared to the quality. Always briskly busy but a place where tempos runs pleasingly light suitable for foreigners who want to taste the excellent Italian products

  • It was a brilliant place. Incredible fresh produce and a wonderful place to have lunch. The fruit is superb and excellent small goods.
  • You can buy food and drinks here from local producers. After you buy, go outside in the back of the market and enjoy your "shopping"! There are some benches and tables. Do not be ashamed, locals do it also :)!
  • Appears to be closed? Went on a Sunday at noon with locked doors and no sign of life. What a disappointment!
  • Love this Farmers market. Bake port sandwich. yummy Only open on weekend.
  • Mercato di Circo Massimo Via di San Teodoro, 74 (Metro B Circo Massimo) Sat 9am – 6pm, Sun 9am – 4pm Food Markets in Rome Housed in what used to be an ancient Jewish fish market, this is a great weekend mercato. Its prime location allows you to go grocery shopping amidst the fairly stunning surroundings of Circus Maximus and the Palatine Hill. This farmer’s market has a strong focus on local produce, so you can count on getting typical Roman products such as artichokes, chicory, pecorino and olives. You can also find vendors selling fresh meats, flowers, honeys, jams and truffles.
