  • To start noticing Roman Madonnas-fresco images and mosaics on the corners of houses and in niches, it is necessary to liberate consciousness, disable and enable the objectives attention. Because most often we run for something specific, we are looking for the most important points of interest, and these images are part of the everyday life of the city. Who noticed Mary on the way from the Quirinale Palace to the Trevi Fountain?

  • This is such a wonderful and touching tradition-veneration in the form of images of her on the historic buildings of the city. Mosaic images are stored better frescoes, murals hidden behind the glass, near flowers in pots, candles, visor. The Virgin Mary is particularly good at full height on the square Rotunda. But who notices?

  • This typically Italian need to hang a crucifix in every public place gets really ridiculous when trying to instill religious soul force to buildings with the clergy (fortunately) didn't hit anything. Really need a madonna at every corner and in every building?
