Hi we were x the first time in this structure, be really very nice well kept with many attractions, from the reviews I was a little hesitant but I haven't found anything earth-shattering ... is a bit of a row the morning x tickets but if you arrive at 9.30 and the ticket office opens at 9.30 what it take to not find the line? we arrived an hour before we found the parking space and sunbeds and umbrella , the place is very large and you can do many things very good animation very engaging in the wave pool is danced and we laugh a lot very nice, there is also the possibility to eat lunches, taking something from home. Beautiful also the idea of foam parties. Will definitely be back.

With temperatures of mid thirties in the city this was a great way to cool down. Reasonable prices, very clean and great fun.  more »

I wasn't for a number of years and I must say that they have even improved. Historians slides were joined by the lagoon for children, which provides recreation to those who have young children, with child-friendly slides, shallow pools babies who still do not know how to swim, you can do better. But the other slides, including canoes, with appropriate security measures, can be made by an adult and a small child, also for the first time. The prices may seem excessive, but with proper research you can find discounts and coupons they do contain the cost of entry, and even inside do not exaggerate with the reloading of prices (a pair of armrests costing exactly how much you would pay off) and also for lunch there is much choice on all rates. Finally, but not as a final point, I would like to thank the staff found the entrance that despite all the sunbeds and the reserved seats were already occupied, have worked to find Frisia a reserved seat my wife, 8 months pregnant.

  • WARNING! This place does not open until June 1st in spite of this website saying "OPEN - Until 6:30pm". I wasted 100 Euros driving my family from the middle of Rome on a very warm afternoon only to find a closed business and two workers who just shrugged the their shoulders when I referred to the Google website that incorrectly stated the opening hours (aside to the owners of Parco Acquatico: Google is still the largest search engine in the world - including Italia! Get your marketing materials together please!). I hope no one else makes the same mistake I made this morning.
  • Well, this was nice. We drove to Hydromania with our rented Vespa from the middle of Rome. Our navi had some problems so we took a little piece of highway, oops! Nevertheless we were very excited to cool off on this hot day! We took the Gold card for 25 euro's. This means paying 5 euro's extra for a ice cream. The reserved beds are not worth it since there are plenty of free beds. For the rest the park is worth the money. Loads of aqua fun to do. Slides (the one with the tube is the best) and pools of every kind. They are also expanding the park with some extra chill area's and a really steep slide! Oh, only the food (we had a burger/hotdog and fries) are nasty and not worth the money (16 euro's).
  • Fun for a day out to break up the site seeing and cool off , it is a small park with a few sets of slides for all ages. Their directions on the website are the biggest issue we ran into many people trying to figure out how to get there by bus ~ train they need to update with clear instructions of where the bus stops are when you get off the metro if you want more tourists to find you. Please help people who do not know the local bus stops. We and several other groups wasted time trying to get there.
  • Very nice water park we had lots of fun oh yeah the kids too. We paid 14 euros each as we had coupons which can easily be printed from the Internet site of hydromania. The slides are fast and some are really breathtaking. We had luck that it was not so full so the queues were short . Mostly visited by italians not so many tourists go to hydromania because most go for sightseeing. I would recommend this park to everyone visiting Rome. Great place to spend a day away from all the tourist attractions.

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
