  • The title states that it is both for kids and adults. When I first showed up for this class with my wife there were like 7 kids and no adults that we could tell. Couple more added as we started and it had to have been 20 kids and 5 adults but this did not hold back the teachers. We had alot of fun and there was a tournament style foam sword play at the end that the kids got really into. The class would not have been as much fun without the kids or the instructors we had. Good amount of knowledge on gladiators and it was fun.
  • Great for kids and adults alike. Loads of history and great guides. Out trainers were fantastic, especially 'Ulfghar'.
  • If you fancy something a little different while in Rome, try Gladiator School. We were met by our gladiator trainer, who took us first to their small museum to explain more about the life of a gladiator and fighting in the Colosseum. We got to try on replica helmets, hold swords and shields. Our teens (13 and 16 years) took part in the actual training, there was plenty of room for myself and my husband to watch and cheer. They started their training with a warm up and then moved on to learn blocking and fighting routines. Once they had learnt and practiced these we then moved into a little colosseum for the main fights. Don't forget bug spray.......There was some for us to use, which we did but we still came away with a far few bites. Check out exactly where it is on Google maps, we had, so we knew where to go after getting off the bus but it's not on the main road, so could be confusing.
  • This is a must do if you have kids in Rome. The person running it is beyond amazing and fascinating to listen to. He really is a wealth of information. The experience with the kids fighting is terrific. I think my two girls got more information about ancient Rome from him than all other tours. Very interactive and informative.
  • Great for kids big and small to train to be a Gladiator. A good, fun lesson by the Trainer, and gives a good feeling for what it would have been like for the slaves training to be Gladiators 2000 years ago. Highly recommended! ๐Ÿ‘
