  • Delicious homemade ice cream made by them, served with cream, always made by them on a daily basis, in different flavors every day, when I went there it was: normal, pistachio and hazelnut flavored. One of the values of the local is the ability to eat what you take (cold or hot), on benches in the sidewalk in front of that is tiled and wooded and projects the view towards the walls and porta latina. An excellent perspective for every season!

  • the ice cream parlour I was recommended by a friend, and then I wanted to try it. With all due respect to the evident willingness of the managers, the ice cream didn't like. I don't dare to assert that it is not good because it is a subjective opinion, but frankly the taste I perceived blandly tastes (licorice, eggnog, pistachio), and not because, but rather because of the poverty of the ingredients. So not stodgy, but not satisfying.

  • What can we say? Diego own always helpful. Very good ice cream and I would say especially created a beautiful corner for our children. Good ice cream great price and great service. Special thanks to Diego & staff.

  • The best gelateria we found in Roma. The prices are good. Great place to stop after gladiator training.
  • Our kids (and us, too!) loved this place and made us go everyday we were in Rome. The small gelato (2Euros) was a great value - and not particularly small. Try the Willy Wonka and Dark Chocolate flavors - they're to die for!
  • The absolute best local ice cream shop! Makes my favorite just for me!
  • One of the best ice cream in the area. Ultra chocolate fondant then a show. Room amenities of taste not very varied as small space, but those that are there, all right. The space is with benches outside, and you can also try frozen yogurt and crepes. Highly recommended!

  • The best ice cream in the area. United is not expensive at all, and for 2.50 euro is so great that one has to do. In addition, it is excellent, great selection, friendly service.

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
