  • Deliberately went here for the Judith and Holofernes piece. That was worth it but the rest is rather disappointing, most of the rooms were closed off and the museum wasn't cheap. Additionally, it was ...  more »
  • It is a fine art gallery in Palazzo Corsini, where is located the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, in Via della Lungara, near the Botanical Gardens (which is well worth a visit in the spring) at the foot of the janiculum Hill. Walking the Regina Coeli Prison. Among the most important works a small triptych by Beato Angelico, the St John the Baptist by Caravaggio, Salome by Guido Reni, the Prometheus of Salvator Rosa and a series of still life paintings by Flemish masters really stunning. Only flaw the lighting of works that would deserve more modern accouterments.

  • A bit of a disapointment. Even the Caravaggio was not there. It was on loan.
  • Excellent quality of the picture gallery, unfortunately the paintings are arranged very badly (was respected the original arrangement) and it is not easy to admire them. Often the building houses other exhibits. take advantage of the first Sunday of every month for a free tour.

  • Gallery with historical setting in the beautiful walls of Palazzo Corsini. At the time of review, some parts of the building are being renovated and some paintings are on loan (Caravaggio). The first Sunday of the month admission is free.
