  • The rooms are very nice with great natural lighting. The temporary exhibitions are very interesting. the works of Italian artists and beyond are beautiful. Too bad too many works are stored in storage and audio guides are not available.

  • The unconventional arrangement of the works does not seem to be to everyone's taste, but those who engage in them will be rewarded. I really liked the fact that works from different eras are exhibited together, including some loans from the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica. Sometimes I have a connection directly, sometimes not, but it has always stimulated reflection, sometimes also a smile. As always with modern and contemporary art, not every work agrees with you, but there was a lot of exciting things for me. And of course, the architecture of the building also excites. What I found difficult was the orientation in the building. I went through several rooms several times to see everything, and in the end I accidentally took the exit to the restaurant and had to walk around the building again to get my enclosed belongings and go to the toilet. Recommendation: Visit them right at the beginning, none will come later. But despite the organisational improvement needs completely recommended.

  • Imposing monument, a museum for those who want to taste art for many hours, every step a different sigh that surprises you with each work, every painting, every statue, every room, every floor, is to get lost in the middle of art and forget that time passes. I'm a real art lover and I loved this museum. I recommend it to everyone.

  • Great thought provoking art. Open from 8:30am to 7:30pm every day except Mondays. Features mostly Italian artists, however there are a few foreign artists who feature here such as Van Gogh. The iconic steps and front facade are worth a snap too
  • Really nice place to visit. If you want a slow pace enjoyable experience this is it. They have bathrooms and cafe. Although i thought the cafe prices were a little steep. They have a lot of different kind of art, not for smaller children.
  • Well-curated, well-run, and well-appointed. As public modern art museums go, this is a good one. The show during our visit included contemporary and modern works curated together in different galleries (picture somewhat related). While aspects of the museum layout can be confusing, if their shows are half this good at any given time, the National Gallery is well worth visiting.
  • What a beautiful place to visit over and over again. The settings of each room are really thought-provoking and novel, in that works are combined thematically, or according to other subtle analogies, but never I'm chronological order. This means that the audience is given the chance to rethink works that are well known, or consider them under a new light. Just great!!
  • I love this gallery. It has a great atmosphere and I love the variety and mix of all types of art. There is also free parking just up the road.
