  • It's a gorgeous, gorgeous fountain ... a work of art in the open air of unique beauty, rare, well laid-out into the tissue around

  • A walk is that if you are coming to Spain's Square and enjoy this place highly dramatic, elegant and full of life. You sit on the steps and it's natural carefree enjoy the fountain. Just beautiful, all restored, with clear water that leaves see the forms in their entirety. I immediately think of a reflection "you break it, you don't pay and the mess are ours". We have the world's most important Historical heritage, but we protect and preserve properly-with disrespect. The barbarians are back from Civil Northward. Mom Holland washes his hands and not responsible for his children. However it was a pleasure to see the sculpture shiny, cleaned up, but the wounds do not heal.

  • As it was supposed to be nice to open the housing of the Keats-Shelley House Museum in their stay in Rome and see la Barcaccia close and perhaps hear the sound of water that moves. What thoughts, such as stimulation, which elements of creativity for such important poets in their aesthetic production or simply which pleasantness in the gaze of a square with a fountain like that. Pietro Bernini especially and the son makes devoted themselves. In 1626, Pope Urban VIII commissioned Pietro Bernini to create a fountain under the Church of Trinità dei Monti; everything was completed in 1629. The boat-shaped submersible fountain placed in an oval tub with water in both containers. At the center you can see a small oblong fountain of Barcaccia, then aft and prow the coats of arms of the Barberini and the water that seems to descend gently to the fullest tank below. All very, very nice, especially, worthy of the best production of Bernini, but unfortunately poorly patronised by rude tourists and, recently, from Dutch vandals who should not have access to these places so historically important.

  • Next to the Spanish stairs. Very nice composition of Square , stairs and Fontaine. And don't forget to buy an ice cream for the full enjoyment! 🙃
  • We have drunk the water from the fountain. The water of Rome was cool, delicious. The Rome has had a good water supply from old Roman. The system of water supply was the best in the world.
  • A beautiful fountain at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, made by Pietro Bernini with his promising son Gian Lorenzo
  • A very nice fountain in front of the Spanish steps.
  • A very interesting themed water fountain that depicts a half-sunken boat, very near the beautiful Spanish steps. The lighting, as usual, is spectacular at night, and lots of other tourists to be expected.
