Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.

  • didn't bring the kids but they would have liked it for a few hours. Not bad for the area at all. Hollywood bowl without the bowling!  more »
  • I attended for a few years now this chain of arcades which unfortunately have only exercise for Arco di travertino. As reported earlier by other reviewers often video games hall are broken or turned off, most of them are a ticket (the only mame is unplugged at the time) but I don't recommend bringing kids in that above all during the week the weather is worse because it is populated by coattelli (come to the pool table) that will not make problems to annoy those who go there to have fun with a mame or a rhythm game. By the way I stress the near absence of real video games in the living room, from the mythical ITG that was removed (ddrx which should replace it already is a downgrade in departure, more does not receive maintenance) to the house Of the dead 2 which made a similar end. I spent a good time in these rooms, but both me and my group of friends we left behind after the above. P.s. I subscribed to tripadvisor for leaving a review of Extra hoping it might lead to changes.

  • The saddest thing ... just slots. As if proof were needed. In fact it was deserted. I understand the business but Geez even the staff and customers 0 ... mAh maybe suited him leave video games.
