  • Must-see for anyone who loves art. This wonderful sculpture is a work master of the great sculptor Bernini and an of the jewels of the Baroque Italian. Really impressive.

  • The famous sculpture of Bernini's "the ecstasy of St. Theresa" in the Church of Santa Maria della Victoria can indeed cause delight, but only if read description to understand the details of the composition and its surrounds. Recommend for careful and unhurried inspection. The Church itself which is a small sculpture, located near the Republic square. If not for the work of Bernini, that would be quite rough (by Roman standards, of course).

  • The Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria is located in the Via XX Settembre, something remote of them main routes tourist, but well accessible to foot or in underground (between the stations of Barberini and Repubblica). In its interior is the magnificent sculpture of the ecstasy of Saint Teresa, of Baroque style and performed in the mid-17TH century, a masterpiece of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. They impressed the whole lighting and the folds of the clothes of the santa.
