  • This is such a cute little wine shop, we could have spent hours in here. Fabio, the sommelier who assisted us, was EXCELLENT. We came to him with two specific wines we were looking for, but unfortunately one of the bottles he didn't have in stock. The wine was special to us because it was the kind we drank on our wedding night, Fabio had us come back 2 hours later and he was able to track down exactly what we were looking for! So knowledgeable and very reasonable prices. He even wrapped our bottles in bubble wrap so they'd make safe passage home to the USA in our luggage. Grazie Mille!!!
  • Super friendly service and a good selection of wines. Also reasonably priced for being in one of the most expensive areas in Rome.
  • Found several reviews on Travel Advisor, Google, etc. and this shop is hands down the best place in the city center for great wine at a reasonable price. Definitly coming back the next time I visit Rome.
  • Wonderful wine shop right where we needed one. Fabio was so friendly and helpful, walking through some personal recommendations of wines we would never be able to get easily in the U.S. Great spot!

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
