  • We went there twice to eat for lunch. It is definitely value for money. Typical local food (daily specials) and top quality wines. One of the best places in Rome. Very authentic and friendly place. Th...  more »
  • Is a jewel to be preserved once the "wines and oil" were much more common in Rome. Buccone keeps up the memory of these places. I was in for a quick lunch and I couldn't taste the wines, but I intend to go back!

  • We booked into four. the place is cute and cozy a shop crammed full of high quality wines and spirits with precious bottles ... but we had booked to eat. We ordered a platter of cold cuts as an appetizer, two of us got fettuccine with Zucchini and smoked ham a pasta e fagioli and an Eggplant parmigiana. The two sheets and fettuccine with Zucchini raw Bacon and some frustoletto 3/10 rating basically, pasta e fagioli good rating 7/10 wanting to spread out, and the Eggplant without infamy and without praise vote 5/10. As entertainment flunked in all respects. best of Mac Donald.

  • Great interior, good and professional service en very good choice of Italian wines. Good choice by the glass. Visites by locals and touristis. This is why we Prefer italy so much more than France!
  • So delicious!
  • Magnificent wine bar, with people enjoying the pleasure of serving excellent food.

  • Great place for a stopover, ask for the homemade meal of the day and drink a wine from their great selection.

  • Definitely a good deal of wine but as entertainment. Melanzane alla parmigiana, oil impregnated bucatino alla amatriciana completely overcooked. Probably these noodles this follows from the fact that asking a pasta alla amatriciana different from bucatino we were told that was not possible (?!). Our grievances to the immangiabilità of bucatino we were told the other guests (Americans) had enjoyed it. In fact we agree with them, is a restaurant that it's okay to catch unsuspecting tourists and spennarli giving them poor quality food. The poor education of the holder (while we took our grievances turned the other side talking to the table next!) rounded out the bleak picture of this while historical location. Rating 4.
