  • I've never been to the Elegance Café. Secondary street near the station, door on the road and access to the semi-hidden room: a small door with a painting to signal the entrance. And in fact, while I take off my helmet because the civic is that, a little girl pointing her index finger asks her dad what's in there. A little perplexed I start. There are no smells of any kind fortunately, not even music, only diffuse cheerful murmur. That night my cousin played. The band was already there but in temporary relaxation. Our very nice neighbor, Daniele Civiletti, who is on the double bass, came to meet us and it was nice to see him excited before the evening. Immediately after the greetings, led by Simona Sopa, we went to take our seat at our table. Shortly after we had to drink and the menus to consult. We had different misgivings about sauces and some combinations that seemed a little risky. With a cute Eastern accent, but in perfect Italian, Simona illustrated the dishes, referring to the ingredients, texture, aroma and taste of the dishes. It was so good, I told myself, that it was enough to know that there were no foods foreclosed to me for allergy, to make me taste things I never thought I would try. However, the appetizers left me really amazed by the care in the presentation of the dish but especially for the flavor. Delicate, delicious and tasty. For the first dish I asked to be able to replace the dumplings with the tuna, because it is my favorite pasta. They satisfied me in this too. Shortly after Simona with a smile, brought me this dish and my husband commented "What a sight!" (maximum approval expression n.d.t.!). And it was certainly a sight for the eyes, but the scent that emanated was certainly no less. Taste did not disappoint my expectations: perfect cooking, flavor... Try! Ecstasy of the palate! I have tasted several things and I must say that I enjoyed everything. The dessert and coffee have kept the standard of the courses, and it is not taken for granted. In fact, there is often a sudden fall with coffee, but not this time. After dinner, we enjoyed some good music. You know my cousin are a band of professional musicians with an inexhaustible verve. In other words, I must say that the evening exceeded all my expectations. Now that I think about it, however, I have to say that I am not sure what role Simona Sopa actually plays within the room, but it is in fact that not only has she been able to tell us simply how the dishes were actually, as if she used to eat them habitually , but she seemed really pleased that we liked it. Perhaps all this could be summed up in the formula "beware of the customer", except that I did not feel like a customer even for a minute. No I would say that it is attention to the person in front of you, a rare ability now even in the catering of this hasty world. I'm going back.

  • Located in the Pyramid area a stone's throw away, this place is a bit hard-to-find (as well as you struggle to find parking) given the tiny entrance. Once you enter, however, you are immersed in a refined and truly elegant environment. Perfect acoustics, comfortable seating and good table service. Very good selection of drinks and their realization. A little less the kitchen with the cakes not up to par and that did not allow me to offer a full vote.

  • We waited for the second visit before reviewing this place, because often a positive first impression is unfortunately disproved the next time. Instead we had the confirmation of an elegant venue, name and fact, with a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, where you eat very well with an exquisite service and listen to good music. The first visit was during the week and of course the place was not full, but the second time, on a Saturday and with a name of cry to sing and the restaurant full, they did not suffer at all the kitchen or service, very attentive and kind. At the beginning of the meal are offered small entrée accompanied by various types of bread (bonus: in the account there is no absurd item "bread and covered"!). You can opt for a tasting menu (for two people, 45 euros each) or choose from the proposals a la carte, ranging from meat to fish; on the two visits we tasted various dishes and it all seemed very good (only the pig rollè was, to our taste, a bit dry and we made it present to our waitress); the wine list may have a bit high tops and besides it is not a cheap restaurant, but on the site there is the menu with prices and so when you decide to go you know more or less what you are going to meet. There is also a well-stocked bar and a good cocktail card, which can be enjoyed at the table as an aperitif or on the armchairs during the concert or at the spacious bar counter. A single note: to better care for the toilets (a little sacrificed and not exactly immaculate). Definitely.

  • Wonderful evening of good food and music. Thank you Oscar Lorito for taking care of us -.giving us a good table, carefully explaining the menu, providing an attentive service. We will be back for more enjoyment.
  • Elegant, cosy atmosphere with live bands making the evenings trully memorable, one of my favourite places in the city.
  • Great place, hidden from main turistic routes. Spacious, with nice acoustics and authentic jazz programs. Interesting choice of drinks. Cuisine is good too if you choose to eat.
  • Very elegant place to have dinner and listen to live jazz. I really enjoyed the food and the show!
  • Very good place where it's possible to listen and watch good jazz music
