  • Thousands of Bodies were buried here in the distant past but we never saw any. Unsealed Tombs the bodies had rotted away and the sealed tombs were still sealed. There are about 17 kilometres of tunnel...  more »
  • A grisly subterranean stroll through niches and passageways that early Christians used for burials. Lacks appeal for children and the claustrophobic.
  • See the ancient catacombs are clean. So, without being creepy is near the Park and the Church, so it bright? Kanji even was. Many attractions and, irrespective of the catacombs, like looking at the ruins in OK I think. It is very interesting.

  • Some absolutely amazing ancient frescos. We had an external guide take us as part of their tour so cannot comment on the quality of the local guides
  • Bad servicemen. Didn't pay any attention to us for 15 min though no one else were in the ticket office - just speaking between themselves. We haven't bought tickets there - we decided to go to St. Callist catacombs instead, as all of them are the same. It is not allowed to take pictures inside the catacombes. There are no bones, all the graves are opened and empty. Also a dissappointment.
  • We had an interesting guided tour down in the catacombs. Though it was rather short and I was a bit disappointed that they don't walk with you more through the underground.
  • Short tour felt a bit rushed but the guide was extremely knowledgeable and interested in answering questions and giving us as much info as he could.
  • Pretty lengthy tour, unlike some catabombes. Our guides were very knowledgeable and answered our questions.
