  • This fountain tells the whole story with the geography-here you and the River, and Roman she-Wolf with Romulus and Remus. All very monumental, in marble, and how else?

  • The environment is nice, so I do not give a 0, but source is horrible, a face enormous that it could well be a failure of stone which is sad.

  • The source of the goddess Roma is located in the center of the Chamber in the East, in the Piazza del Popolo. She shows the goddess Rome flanked by two statues representing Rome, the Tiber and Aniene rivers. The she-Wolf breast-feeding Romulus and Remus, in representation of the legendary origins of the city is situated at the foot of the goddess.

  • This is the right way to walk up to the Pincio and enjoy the great panorama of Rome. The Pincio is a great starting point for a nice walk to Trinita dei Monti, always enjoying the fascinating view of Rome in the dark. Then you walk down the Spanish steps and use the Via Margutta to walk back to Piazza del Popolo...
  • Great fountain with statue on top, which depicts the goddess of Rome. It is in Piazza del Popolo. But there was no water in the fountain when I visited.
  • This monumental marble and travertine fountain is located in the Piazza del Popolo, under the slopes of the Hill of the Pincio, installed in 1823 according to design by the architect Giuseppe Valadier and execution of the sculptor Giovanni Ceccarini. The sculptural group consists of a huge statue of the goddess Roma, armed and flanked by two figures representing the rivers that pass through the city, the Tiber and its tributary, the Aniene. At the foot of the goddess the representation of the she-Wolf that breastfeeding is the twins Romulus and Remus. At the opposite end of the square we can find another source with the same characteristics, whose protagonist in this case is Neptune. It is a magnificent source of which we will enjoy during our visit to the Piazza del Popolo.

  • Beautiful fountain in the piazza del popolo. Back at the top there is a beautiful park (del glue oppio) which overlooks the square.
