  • Maybe a bit overseen but Michelangelo's stairs are beautiful. Best seen from the bottom and in the afternoon with the sun in your back. Best photos will be then. Hard to find some "alone" time however...  read more »
  • Beautiful and majestic rise up to Piazza Campidoglio. Highlights of the equestrian statues that dominate high rise, one on each side. This along with the Altare della patria in piazza venezia.

  • Considered by many to be a staircase, it's actually a sloping road leading to piazza del Campidoglio, where the sides are majestic statues of the dioscuri, Castor and Pollux.
