  • The column celebrates the military exploits of 2000 years ago di Traiano in Dacia, roughly the current Romania, and describes in detail the main feats. A real history book, carved in imperishable memory of posterity. Not to be missed if in Piazza Venezia.

  • A true history book made in stone, that tells the story of the Dacian wars that Traian won. Remarkably well kept, given it's age. The Traian's Forum next to it is also impressive.  more »

  • Wonderful piece of history. Worth seeing.
  • An absolute incredible column, with a lot of very well done battle scenes sculpted/carved in the rock of the column
  • Another worthwhile visit in the city of Rome, the historic column is still quite beautiful to this day.
  • The Trajan's Column is like no other to me: such a History book that has to compensate the lack of information on Dacian wars. I felt very happy for being able to be here.
  • Historic, definitely worth seeing.
