Colle Aventino, Rome
Categories: Historic Walking Areas, Historic Sites, Tourist Spots
The site of Remus' mythological attempt to found a city, Colle Aventino features the Mouth of Truth and Circus Maximus, temples dedicated to Portunus and Hercules. If you look from just the right angle, it frames the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Use our Rome itinerary maker to arrange your visit to Colle Aventino and other attractions in Rome.

What would be one of the seven hills, nothing but good views, good walks, walks like it is. Tourists, too, you can relax. It is not seen as Japanese tourists. St. Peter's Basilica are visible keyholes.show original
