The Mall is the main element of animation of a large modern complex of services and tertiary sector (offices, banks, administrative services, recreation etc.), invented in 1983 by the promoter Lamaro, how totally private, urban initiative designed to create a business park that has the task to decongest the city center. Customer access is provided by all public transportation in the city. Urban and suburban bus stops and Metro stations "Cinecittà" and "Subaugusta" face at the entrances of the Mall. Suburban bus lines connect with ordinary hills (Frascati, Castel Gandolfo, Albano etc.) that already contain major inflationary gravitational trade capital. There is also a taxi stand near the main entrance to the Mall. At the Mall parking lot leads directly from the neighbouring roads through entry and exit control barriers, and is on two levels. The first two hours of parking are free. The Foundation of the merchandising of Cinecittàdue was to create a qualified and extremely varied level Mall. Were assessed carefully the features of traders based on professionalism, durability, specialisation and consumer tradition expressed by the market considering an Italian and, more specifically, romana, inserting spaces for retailing, franchising, services, and catering. Cinecittàdue welcomes inside 120 shops with signboards at national level such as: Max & co., Stefanel, Benetton, Whole Grain, Eldo, La Murrina, Swatch, Breil, CarlaG., Alno Kitchens AVC by Adriana Campanile, Replay & Son, Pinko, Ottica Romani, Arion, GoldenPoint Library, Intimissimi, Saints, Leam, Limoni Profumerie, Illy, plus Coin specialist in the field House, and still, supermarket G.S., banks , travel agent, post office, restaurant services and the box office with advance tickets for sporting events, arts and culture, pet shop and an assorted flower and plant shop. Cinecittàdue represents the reality of a real possibility of "growth" of the city, with the creation of a Centre for meeting and aggregation that collects the interests of citizens and give an answer social needs with respect to habits and rhythms of organization of households. The realization of commercial spaces have been studied in order to recreate the environment of the road and promoting at the same time, functions for animations, promotions of the Center. It was, moreover, designed a space dedicated to contemporary art, where high quality exhibitions are scheduled. In addition, for the first time in Italy was planned in Rome an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art in a mall: Cinecittàdue contemporary art, this is the name of the new exhibition space, inside the Mall Cinecittàdue. It is sponsored by the Association of merchants of the Cinecittàdue that this initiative intends to launch a programme of contemporary art exhibitions of high quality in a place basically alien to the culture. A private, nonprofit initiative, which aims to promote contemporary art addressing a wide range of different people for Census and for culture. Providing a place where many will experience a meeting for their unreleased with art and where, at the same time, the public may participate in initiatives that aim to have an exemplary character for the originality of the proposals and for the scientific approach. A place, moreover, which contributes to the qualification of the outlying areas of the city, hoping to reverse partially the migratory flow that, as regards cultural activities, moving from the suburbs to the city centre. The new exhibition space is at a level higher than the floor of the stores, which can be accessed from the inner square of the mall through a large scale or a panoramic elevator. It has an area of approximately 300 m2 divided into a semicircular open space that has been equipped in accordance with international standards for the protection and conservation of works of art. Cinecittàdue contemporary art programming provides historical exhibitions that explore important issues, but less studied the most recent art history. the most interesting exhibitions dedicated to Italian artists, paying more attention to those who have never exhibited in Rome or Roman artists well known but little is seen in their city. Will not be forgotten even the photograph with a series of exhibitions on the highest Italian authors.

I come here often, almost every month, because I have an event in the offices behind the Mall. So I'm a strange customer of this mall. But inevitably each time it makes me wonder how effective! Not big, but he branded shops and little touches. I often come to eat and I tried them virtually everyone. Excellent breakfast Bar Sica and rapid and tasty lunch at La expressly Piadineria, Mac Donald to the classic menu lunch from Hi. Fresh and friendly place is one stop if you are around here

Where to stay in Rome

For easy foot access to most of the city's main historical sites, consider staying in Rome's old town center. The area is conveniently placed for public transport, only a walk away from the city's main railway station. Accommodations here span all hotels sectors, from cheap hostels to luxury brand names. To avoid the steep prices and overcrowding of the town center, explore the hotels in the inner suburbs of Rome. They offer comfortable rooms and excellent food at a fraction of the price charged by the centrally located hotel chains. Another affordable option is the area around Vatican, which boasts a good selection of family-owned B&Bs.
