  • Beautiful Church in the Trastevere area a short walk from the best known Santa Maria. Hard to find it open, but the late baroque facade is very pretty, while the interior is a single aisle with three chapels on the side.

  • The church is just a short walk from Garibaldi Bridge to Trastevere. The façade makes you feel a calm atmosphere with mud wall color. There were many paintings and decorations in the church, but it was filled with a serene and dignified atmosphere rather than ornate.

  • Our Lady de Noantri, or Our Lady of us others, represents the peak of Trastevere's devotion. Sant'Agata, patron saint of Catania, is also revered here in July. According to the Liber Pontificalis, this church was built on the site of the house of Pope Gregory II who turned it into a religious building. Like all churches in Rome, it has undergone numerous renovations, and today we admire it in all its late Baroque splendor, with its mustard yellow facade. The interior is a single aisle and there are three chapels on each side. Inside are preserved works by Biagio Puccini and Jerome Troppa. More interesting are the message boards in which the clothes with which Our Lady is decorated on the day of the feast of noantri. In Rome there are an almost infinite number of churches and it is not enough a lifetime to see them all. This is considered a lesser place than other more famous ones, but it is worth, if you pass through Trastevere, stop for a visit.

  • Collection of dresses worn by the statue of the Madonna. Unique ceiling
  • Apparently the church is open Monday to Friday 16:00 to 19:00, as well as for two weekend Masses at 17:00. You cannot visit the church during Mass, unless you want to attend of course. This is a pretty 18th century church, a centre of enthusiastic local devotion to the Madonna (Our Lady). Some of the locals here don't like tourists. The behaviour of some visitors gives them an excuse -please be respectful, and don't take photos with a flash.
  • Saw a very pretty church ceremony and then hung out with the chaplains for a drink, lovely!
  • We saw a lovely ceremony on a Saturday evening round 8:30 PM! Must see!!!
  • Because in Trastevere I was born and every time I go for me it's like going back in time
