  • very close to St. Peter this newly built church outside is a sight, the round onion domes that characterize the churches of the east, intensely colorful celestial - green (when green, when celestial)that shines with the golden contrasting with the White. The majesty and the location is absolutely enviable.

  • This orthodox church located in a wooded setting is just a short walk from Stazione Roma San Pietro. We were unable to enter as the grounds were closing when we arrived. Very beautiful church, with th...  more »
  • And the Church for those who seek the original sacraments to work and not just a symbolic thing! Sacraments unchanged over time as in the era of the Apostles, almost 2000 years ago.

  • This is a beautiful orthodox church with a surprising view of St. Peter's. You have to climb the hill in the back of the church up the stairs.
  • Just off the beaten path between Vatican City and Trastevere you can find this church. It's easily recognized by it's distinctive onion dome that is typical of Russian architecture. The building is beautifully situated on a small hill and looks magnificent from the outside. Construction was started in 2003 so everything is new and clean. The actual church is somewhat small but elaborately decorated. Everything is accented in gold in the Byzantine style. I believe that the rest of the build is home to the Russian Embassy, although it's not indicated anywhere obvious.
  • Dr Fred's Church he asked us to check out.
  • On May 23rd as a sign of friendship with the Orthodox fraternal Russian people and between the Bulgarian Orthodox Church municipality, St. St. Cyril and Methodius "in Rome and the Russian Orthodox Church parish. Mrs. Ekaterina "in Rome, with the blessing of His Eminence Stara Zagora Metropolitan Galaktion, temporarily managing the Western and Middle European Diocese of BMP-BBI, Minister Bojidar Dimitrov donated a fraction of St. Cross Hristov of the Russian Orthodox Church, St. Ekaterina Library of Alexandria "in Rome, on the occasion of his first year of dedication. The solemn rendition of the saint was carried out by his Eminence the Vidin Metropolitan of Domezan, and his high-likeness abbot Philip (Vasiltsev), the Archergian steward of the Moscow Patriarchate of Italy and the forefather of the Temple, adopted Particle from St. A cross on the part of the Moscow Patriarchate.

  • Luogo di culto per i credenti ortodossi. Chi lo vuole visitare lo pu fare tranquillamente. Solo che nei giorni feriali non sempre q aperto. Meglio interessarsi prima degli orari per non trovarla chiusa. Orthodox church, a place for prayer for all comers. Everyone speaks Russian. The truth is sometimes closed. If you want to visit it on weekdays it is better to know in advance if it will be open.
