  • We visited the catacombs as part of a Walks of Italy "Crypts, Bones and Catacombs" evening tour. As a few posters have noted, there aren't any bones visible in these catacombs; all but a very few of t...  more »
  • Murals, drawn inside the cave's catacombs, was impressive. It is quite primitive. Building like ruins and ancient exhibits and attractions.

  • With a great guide, fall back almost 1800 years and realize that not everything that was thought to have gone one way, turned out to be right as well: the passage of Christians through the catacombs

  • One of the most interesting places we visited. It's not a bad idea to have one of those keyring torches in your pocket. It has lots of dark nooks and passages.
  • Very impressive tour and also not so overcrowded. We were only 5 people plus the guide and all in all it was very impressive. The place and his history ( katakomb with more than 40000 graves ) is just breathtaking.
  • Enjoyed this very much. Lots of history here and a break from the sun! Something different and worth going to see even though it's far from the city center.
  • Lovely site and great tour but a bit boring compared to other catacomb tours i have done in other cities.
  • Great alternative to the Appian Way catacombs, although a little out of the way with not much around.
