  • Visitable for free once a month, on a Saturday thanks to the Association Catacombe Committee of Generous . Donato Bramante, Michelangelo and Raphael have taken care of the architectural and pictorial decorations. Built at the end of the sixteenth century, it reaches the height of its splendour during the pontificates of Julius II and Leo X de'Medici, decayed at the end of the sixteenth century due to malaria when it was abandoned ; it was purchased in the 1960s by the Knights of Malta and thanks to the order is created the hospital St. John the Baptist that still has the headquarters.

  • Curious construction born as part of the Monastery of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere. Pleasant to observe it during the walk. He is currently the director of St. John the Baptist Hospital.

  • The castello della Magliana is a fortress building, used as a country residence by the Popes. The castle is mentioned in the 11th century, dating back to medieval times. With the end of the Renaissance era, the Castle fell into disuse and being phased out, in 1959 the entire resort was purchased and restored by the sovereign military order of Malta. Today it houses offices and the direction of the nearby Ospedale San Giovanni Battista, owned by the same order.
