  • Is the House of the vestals were guarding the sacred fire of Vesta (Goddess of the hearth). 6 people (originally four) was a priestess of Vesta because they were living together does not. House was right next to the Temple of Vesta. Chapel to the right of the entrance is built in white marble and brick, the altar was placed inside. Entrance and immediately courtyard, had two square ponds. Plenty of roses are planted around the pond. Courtyard surrounded by a portico on the north side was lined up successive maiden head statue. Miko 6 room room is located at the back of the courtyard at the end, on the South side had a kitchen and bathroom. You can still see the marks. It is ruins in the Roman Forum that clearly remains.

  • The building is part of the monumental area named "Fori Imperiali". The building stood next to the "Temple of Vesta" and in it the priestesses Vestal Virgins lived. The whole thing was then a single block.

  • This is an interesting part of the Roman Forum where there are ruins of buildings, columns, and more remains of the goddess-sculptures. The nåværemde remains of the entire complex is from the recent restoration of the wife of Septimius Severus, Julia Domna, after the fire in 191. Originally, it was at least two levels of the complex, a larger yard with colonnade and fountains.
