Campo de' Fiori undergoes three transformations in a day. Visit in the morning to browse an open-air street market with local produce and souvenirs. By afternoon, the market is gone, and sidewalk restaurants take its place. Come in the evening to experience an electric atmosphere. The square comes alive with music and is packed with people flooding out of restaurants and bars. Look for the ancient La Terrina fountain. Its inscription, translated, reads, "Do the good and let them talk." Take the guesswork out of planning a Rome vacation by using our trip itinerary maker.

I came there to see the famous market but it wasn't good as I hoped. The square is beautiful but in Rome there are better ones. A very good thing is that around the square there are some of the best..... more

A city market is held here and Saturday seems to be a big day. Many "food tours" leave from the statue here so come early and shop. This is a really neat place.

This restaurant is right off the piazza. My husband ordered a small pizza and a small portion of spaghetti & meatballs. The portions were actually pretty large. I ordered the canneloni with ricotta...

It is okay. But not worth to visit.

This is a thriving fresh food market during the day, with great quality fruit and vegetables that we purchased and cooked ourselves. It also has quality oils and balsamic vinegar. By night, all that is packed away and the perimeter restaurants are packed. I would however recommend the restaurants in the connecting side streets for something a little quieter.

As most piazzas, it is beautiful. And I like Giordano Bruno, although I have been told he was lacking charm

Beautiful place to be and drink a beer or two. It has a lot of restaurants and bars who will ask you in to drink something. But watch out, do not fall either for the free drinks or the people that are asking you in, because its their Job to get you in. My favourite Bar is the dtunken-Ship its so welcoming and nice to stay there.

A very scenic view of the Italian buildings and statue. The market adds a flair and bartering with the merchants is enjoyable... I find a cafe on the fringe and people watch while drinking a nice wine!!
