  • Tour of about 1 hour and 30 minutes to do if you are in Rome. I highly recommend it to everyone, including children!

  • Really interesting and unusual visit. This morning, upon entering Villa Torlonia, a friend of mine and I met the guide at the starting point of the visits; taking advantage of the opportunity to make the ticket directly there (without having to show up with the reservation on the internet) we got to see a really nice and particular part of the villa. The visit begins with a presentation of the villa, with the presentation of the various sites, then you go to the first entrance, that is the anti-aircraft shelter, which was obtained from a cellar, but extremely interesting. You go out and then enter the 3rd and 2nd bunkers (historical order), and then watch an interesting documentary. The setting up of flyers suspended in the air to simulate launch from an aircraft is really cute and suggestive. Our guide was really welcoming and attentive to our needs (my friend has some difficulty walking ), prepared on the site and answered precisely all the questions I asked. The visit lasted 90 minutes and the price is 10 euros per person (5 euros for people with disabilities and 5 euros for the escort ) In conclusion a visit That I recommend, a very particular part of Rome to know and very suggestive, well organized and with staff m professional.

  • Forgot crowded Colosseum and Foras and enjoy raw history of Rome. The interiors are very modestly furnished (are you supprised? After all these years without proper care) but commentation is rich and whole experience is really authentic. The tour has to be reserved (via booking system on web pages) and pre-paid! Reservation is easy and communication with guides are fast and good. Guides level of English was excellent as well as knowledge about place and history.
  • I visited this Villa with my son last February. You can book online for a €20 fare per person a guided tour of the Mussolini Bunker. Guided tours are Italian spoken. The promenade goes thru the park, While you can be watching and taking pictures of the different buildings of Villa Torlonia . You are given a short description of each venues history. These buildings were built by Giuseppe Torlonia and his son, Alexander in the XIX Century. Be prepared to go up and down stairs thru narrow passages. At the end of the tour you are given a touching and vivid simulacrum of a bombing raid while the room gets in the dark. The entrance to the park is free, and people comes here for running, promenading or just walking their dogs. Try to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Sneakers are the best. No public toilettes available during the tour.
  • Worthwhile to see even if you can't understand what they are saying! We knew enough Italian to get most of it but it is still a great tour.
  • Very interesting experience and very well structured visit, because you can see the bunker and the shelters, listening to the Tales of the Guide, but you can also see a movie, some reproductions and you do an experience of "bombing". The guide Martina was excellent. Very recommend
