The Church was rebuilt in 1195 by Celestine III and at that time was also the Romanesque Bell Tower, one of the few remaining elements of the medieval period. Between 1650 and 1706 and the Church was restored and then entirely rebuilt in the first half of the eighteenth century. The façade has two orders, of which the superior is set back from the bottom. The lower tier has four pilasters and two columns with capitals decorated with deer's head supporting a large triangular pediment, while the upper, backlog, is marked by pilasters with composite capitals and has a central window with curved frame and shell niches on the sides. The triangular gable end, is topped by a deer's head with the cross, an explicit reference to the vision that converted Eustace to Christianity. The Interior of the Church has a Latin cross, consisting of a single nave with three chapels communicating with each other and decorated with paintings and 18th-century architecture.show original
